Star Wars : Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith (2005)

Perhaps this was one of the most powerful episodes in the entire prequel trilogy

The sheer story is so overwhelming. Whatever I hoped for had been beautifully put together to complete the saga. Not only 'Revenge of the Sith' is visually magnum opus but the narrative is also rich bringing us the complex plot to its full potential. Broad spectrum viewers should be highly satisfied with the story as well as the visual effects. I personally feel Episode III had been far superior when it comes to exhibit inter galactic battle. We get to see some of the best duels with light saber between Obi Wan Kenobi & General Grievous. The climatic duel between Anakin & Obi Wan was one of the most memorable scenes in the entire Star Wars legacy.

Recently I had been quoting the introductory note from Star Wars which you might have seen in my earlier two reviews, I guess it gave me the tempo without giving any further plot details so this is how the story continues...

War! The republic is crumbling under the attacks by the ruthless Sith Lord, Count Dooku. There are heroes on both sides. Evil is every where.

In a stunning move, the fiendish droid leader, General Grievous, has swept into the republic capital and kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, leader of the Galactic Senate.

As the Separatist Droid Army attempts to flee the besieged capital with their valuable hostage, two Jedi Knights lead a desperate mission to rescue the captive Chancellor..."

At last the characters got the chance to be fully developed. John Williams’ music soothes the whole story so marvelously it had completely immersed us into the fable which got unfolded gradually. The final fate of Amidala & Anakin had been really heart aching & I should say Hayden as 'Anakin' had been one of his best performance till date. This movie is a must watch for all the Science Fiction fans out there.

'Revenge of the Sith' had been successful in finishing the Star Wars prequel legacy in a most unforgettable fashion I could think of...so till then 'may the force be with you...'

My Rating : 8/10
